Letter from New York

My friend at work forwarded this email to me, regarding her niece Violette. She moved to New York about 2 years ago. (Thanks for permission to post this!)

Dear All,

I write to you with great sadness in my soul for what tragedy has occurred today across our nation. I also write with great relief as this tragedy closely touched my life.

My daughter Violette was on her way to work at the World Trade Center on the 93rd floor this morning. Fortunately and by God's grace she was running late (unusual for her) for a 9:00 a.m. meeting.

She is doing fine THANK GOD!

She said to me that as she headed for work she thought that it was a beautiful morning, and she said what the heck, so she's late, therefore taking her time to get there. I truly believe that God slowed her down this morning, therefore saving her life.

I can only say that I'm eternally grateful. I ask of you to pray, and love those you cherish with all your might, and pray for those souls who have passed on to have their path shown to them, for having their lives taken so suddenly and tragically. Also, for those incredible beings who risk their lives to save others, and those who care for those who are unable to care for themselves.

This is the moment to do as Violette did this morning: to slow down and look around you to see the beauty of life in nature and in the hearts of all.

Love,
Catalina
