Part 1

Clayton, Missouri is a suburb of St. Louis.

They say there's lots of financial companies and brokerages. They say the downtown is growing and vibrant. They say Clayton's business climate is excellent.

I say, this town looks pretty snoozy to me.

 

 

Lots of people must live here, because there's lots of brick houses. I think all the people were in St. Louis when I visited, though.

 

The town is a mix of old and very new. It's all brick, but the bricks come in different colors. Some are painted very different colors.

The old trees tie all the differences together.
In some places, they didn't keep the trees.

Those places are waiting for better days.

 

There's lots of houses where I'd feel comfortable living.

 

 

There's lots more where I wouldn't.
