The February Planting


These guys have only had about 10 days, most of them pretty chilly days at that. There's an awful lot of dirt showing.


Last summer's pepper plants remain in the corners of the bed, with white sage plants (new last fall) on the diagonal.

Between them is a lush vegetable garden — eventually.


Oh boy, here's more of that stuff I can't identify!

We'll certainly have a good crop of something this spring.


And these look really healthy, whatever they are.


Thank god radish seedlings are distinctive.


Okay, we cheated.

This garlic clove was forgotten in the kitchen long enough that it sprouted. So we stuck it into the ground with the February seeds, and it looks like a monster.
